Praxis Strategies ("Praxis," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at praxisstrategies.io (the "Site") and when you use our Tiebreaker mobile application (the "App"), collectively referred to as the "Services."
This policy describes how we handle information. Your acceptance of our Terms of Service is recorded separately in the App (Section 2). If you do not agree with these practices, please discontinue use of the Services.
Information You Provide Directly
Information Collected Automatically
Voice and Speech Data
The App does not record audio. If you dictate, your device's keyboard turns your speech into text under your device maker's own settings and privacy policy; only the text you submit is sent to us to power AI analysis.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with the following categories of third parties:
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as security and fraud prevention.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time from within the Tiebreaker app, under Profile → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent; it is not a deactivation, and there is no waiting period. You can also request deletion without reinstalling the app at praxisstrategies.io/delete.html.
What deletion removes. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your identity: your login and email address, your password, your profile and display name, your notification tokens and your presence records.
What deletion does not remove, and why. We do not delete the messages you sent during a session, or the AI analysis that quotes them. A session is a shared record belonging to everyone who took part, and removing one person's words would break that record and the analysis for the others. After deletion your messages remain but are no longer linked to your name or account, and you appear only as an unnamed participant. We keep them for as long as the session record exists. If your circumstances require the message content itself to be erased, contact us at privacy@praxisstrategies.io and we will assess your request individually under Article 17 GDPR.
Records we keep after deletion. We keep a record that you accepted our Terms, so that we can show what you were shown and when: your account identifier (which no longer points to a person once the account is deleted), the version of the Terms, and the date. We use it for nothing else and delete it three years after your account is deleted. Reports, blocks, and AI-output flags are kept as an operator record; they hold identifiers and the reasons or notes given, they are not removed when you delete your account, and we do not set a period for them. A flag holds no message content.
What we cannot reach. Deleting your account does not affect a results page that another participant has already shared as an image outside the App, and it does not cancel a subscription — subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and must be cancelled through the store you purchased from (see our Terms of Service, Section 11).
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom residents may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The right to erasure under Article 17 is not absolute: where a request would remove content that forms part of a session record shared with other participants, we weigh your rights against theirs and against the integrity of that record, and we will tell you the outcome and our reasoning.
Account deletion is available directly in the App and needs no request from us (Section 5). To exercise any other right, contact us at the address listed in Section 12. We respond within one month.
Our Site may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyze traffic, and understand user behavior. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.
We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals from browsers.
The free tier of the Tiebreaker app is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob, a service operated by Google LLC. AdMob may collect and use certain data — including a device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS; GAID on Android) and ad interaction data — to serve advertisements, which may be personalized based on your interests.
On iOS devices, we will request your permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes, in accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You may allow or deny this request. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you deny tracking permission, non-personalized ads will be shown instead; this will not affect your ability to use any feature of the App.
Advertising is not shown to users with an active premium subscription. For more information on how Google uses data in connection with AdMob, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information to us, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice (such as an in-app notification or email). The current version is always available at this address.
